About this piece:
Handcrafted sculpture depicting two dolphins
This wooden sculpture depicts two dolphins in motion, mounted on a base of natural parasite wood. Handcrafted in Indonesia, it combines simple woodworking with forms inspired by the marine world.
The dolphins are carved from light-colored wood with rounded lines, while the base retains a more raw and irregular appearance. The natural shapes of the parasite wood make each piece slightly different.
The overall style remains quite spontaneous, close to traditional craftsmanship, with natural wood marks still visible on some parts of the sculpture.
A marine-inspired decoration
The dolphin is often associated with movement, freedom, and water. This sculpture captures that spirit with a composition that gives the impression of circular motion between the two animals.
The natural wood provides a more understated and vibrant look than industrially produced decor. The sculpture can be used as a decorative object in an interior inspired by nature, travel, or global craftsmanship.
Variations in color, texture, and relief are part of the artisanal character of each piece.
