About this piece:

This Shiva statue was hand-carved in Bali by Balinese artisans from a single piece of meticulously worked Suar wood. The sculpture is crafted from a dense, heavy wood, with the craftsmanship evident throughout, highlighting the material and the intricate details of the carving.

Shiva is a major figure in Indian tradition. He is associated with mastery, balance, and transformation. In this depiction, he is seated, his body upright, in a stable posture. This position is chosen to evoke calm, control, and concentration, rather than movement or a dynamic scene.

In Indian tradition, the cobra is associated with protection, vigilance, and controlled strength. Here, it is directly integrated into the sculpture and contributes to the piece's visual structure. It frames the figure, reinforces the volumes, and accentuates the overall presence.

The Suar wood used is renowned for its strength and weight. Its grain remains visible, with natural variations in color and veining. The sculpture is entirely handcrafted and therefore exhibits natural differences, inherent to the wood and the artisan's hand.

After your request has been validated, we will provide you with return instructions and the address to which you should return the product.

Returned items must be unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

In the event of a damaged, defective or non-compliant item, please contact us within 3 working days of receipt, with supporting photos, so that we can process your request quickly.

In all cases, we will assist you in finding the most suitable solution (replacement or refund).

Our pieces come from artisan workshops located mainly in Asia, where they are carefully crafted using traditional techniques.
They are then stored and shipped from our logistics partners in Europe, in order to ensure fast and reliable delivery times.
